TEHRAN – The Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) has been accepted as a member at the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD), IRIB reported.

The SCDI’s membership in AECSD was accepted during the 19th general assembly of the entity in Tajikistan.

Speaking at the assembly, CSDI Head Mohammad Baghestani said Iran’s membership in the AECSD is a step towards strengthening cooperation with the Eurasian region, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences in various fields of the depository industry, and contributing to the association's efforts to serve the common interests of the members of the international body.
